Alongside our Six Hopes for Society, we work on other key areas.
International Development

We live in an unequal world, in which many people lack the basics of life or the opportunity to fulfil their God-given potential. Action is needed to tackle global poverty, address injustices, and encourage sustainable development.
For Christians, supporting international development is a response to the Biblical call to love our neighbours, protect the vulnerable and act for justice. As Churches, we therefore support and advocate for aid programmes, fair trade, tax justice, and cancellation of unjust debts.
Religious Persecution

Religious persecution, including the persecution of Christian and Muslim minorities in North Africa and the Middle East, has received considerable media coverage and is a topic of deep concern to many people of faith. These resources examine the issue of religious persecution and help us to explore the various contexts in which people suffer for their faith today.
Modern Slavery

Modern slavery is a complex and nuanced issue. We have produced web based resources to help individuals, churches and communities work to end Modern Slavery and Exploitation around the world.
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Gambling and Alcohol

The churches have worked around Gambling and Alcohol policy for a number of years. In a society where attitudes towards gambling and alcohol are rapidly changing, we have provided guidance on positive policy around these issues.
