Send us your Show Your Heart selfie

You are here: Home / Nationality and Borders Bill / Send us your Show Your Heart selfie

Join with us to ‘Show Your Heart’ for refugees and asylum seekers.

Send us a selfie of you with an orange heart before 7 December 2021, and join with thousands of others across the UK to say we stand Together With Refugees.

Step 1 – Download or create your orange heart

You can download our template to print out, or create your own orange heart. Could you get crafty with it? Collage, crochet or create your orange heart in an interesting way!

Step 2 – Send us your selfie

Tag us in your selfie on twitter by including @publicissues in your tweet. Don’t forget to use #TogetherWithRefugees. In your tweet, tell us why you want to Show Your Heart for refugees and asylum seekers.

Or, email us your selfie at enquiries@jpit.uk. In your email, tell us why you want to Show Your Heart and share your support.

Step 3 – Look out for your selfie in our collection!

We’ll be sharing the collection of selfies from 6 December, when we’ll be joining with thousands of others across the UK to share why we’re opposing the Nationality and Borders Bill currently in parliament. The bill is expected to have its next debate in the week beginning 6 December, so it’s a crucial time to raise our voices about the bill.

Keep an eye out on our social media platforms to see your selfie featured!

Step 4 – Download our campaigns pack on the Nationality and Borders Bill

The Nationality and Borders Bill could have a major effect on the way this country responds to those in need of sanctuary. It seeks to introduce new policies which differentiate between the way asylum seekers are treated depending on how they reach the UK, among others.

We’re opposing the bill, and calling for a fairer, more compassionate asylum system. You can download our campaigns pack and find guidance on how to engage your MP on the bill here:
