Notice Boards and Resources for Churches

You are here: Home / Modern Slavery and Exploitation / Notice Boards and Resources for Churches

Your Church notice boards and news letters can act as a vital place for people to learn about modern slavery and how it operates in the UK.

Posters For Notice Boards:

We encourage you to put posters, educating about Modern Slavery, up on your notice boards. They explain the warning signs of modern slavery and what to do if you suspect it, along with the main hosts of modern slavery in the UK. See the links below for a variety of Poster Options in a variety of languages.

  • Stop the Traffik have a number of Posters and leaflets in  multiple languages. These can be be put up on notice boards and pinned to the back of toilets. They also have different resources for specific forms of exploitation. We encourage you to put these posters up on your notice boards. They explain the warning signs of modern slavery and what to do if you suspect it, along with the main hosts of modern slavery in the UK.
  • Hope for Justice Poster on How to spot the Signs of Modern Slavery.
  • Toilet Door Poster from the Clewer Initiative. This gives emergency contact information, along with the basic signs of modern slavery.
  • Informational posters on Modern Slavery and Exploitation from the Methodist Church will be added to this page soon.

Business Card Sized Prayer Card:

Credit card sized “Key signs of Modern Slavery” prayer card created by the Clewer Institute. It includes a bible verse and a number to contact if you suspect someone is being exploited. This could be placed on chairs in church prior to services.
