Meet Your MP

Like it or not, politics matters. Political decisions shape our country, our communities, and our everyday lives. Christians are called to be engaged with the world, as Jesus was, and this includes political engagement.

Meet Your MP is a new initiative to encourage positive links to develop between church congregations and their MPs.

It’s about going deeper than just sending an occasional letter or email, but really trying to get to know your representative in Westminster, and giving your MP an opportunity to better understand the activities and concerns of their local community.

You could organise a public meeting for your local community to attend, invite your MP to visit a church project or event, or take them on a walk of your local area to highlight local issues.

We provide plenty of resources and guidance below, so no previous experience is required.
