West Midlands JPIT

The West Midlands Joint Public Issues Team was set up in 2013 by leaders of Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Churches in the West Midlands to help their congregations contribute to debates about the big issues of the day from a Christian point of view.

This regional grouping broadly covers Birmingham, Coventry, the Black Country and the counties of Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire. Recent work included looking at asylum, resourcing churches to engage with elections and engaging with governments about reviews of the Benefits System in the UK.
