Faith and leadership in a global pandemic

Jason Leitch CBE, National Clinical Director Scotland
In this time of great upheaval, what does it mean to wrestle with the challenges of a global pandemic as a Christian in leadership? The 2021 Beckly Lecture was given by Professor Jason Leitch CBE on 28 June. Professor Leitch has worked for the Scottish Government since 2007, and in January 2015 was appointed as the National Clinical Director of Scotland. He is one of the senior team responsible for the NHS in Scotland and a Scottish Government Director, and has been at the forefront of the Coronavirus pandemic response in Scotland. Prof. Leitch spoke from his experience as a public health leader during a global pandemic, and about how his faith informs and supports his work.
