I am the JPIT/ House of Commons Intern for 2019/20. This means I will be splitting my week between working for Michael Tomlinson MP in Parliament, working with the JPIT team and also in the Methodist Conference office. In August 2019 I completed my Masters in International Development: Environment, Climate Change and Development at the University of Manchester, where I wrote my dissertation on the role of Hope in envisioning environmental futures in Climate Change activism. This year I am excited to engage with how these studies apply to the ‘real world’, with a particular interest in considering the theology of politics and development and how a Christian worldview can radically reshape our understanding of society and social change.
